Betty

I'll be honest, more often than not I find that when lip balm brands release a tint collection, it's just not up to snuff - the texture typically suffers and becomes a bit rough and dry, and they usually have a funny chemical scent to them. Not to mention, the color saturation is usually either closer to a lipstick, or barely tinted at all.

Not this girl. Betty is the only tint I've tried so far from Delight Naturals, but it won't be my last. She is as smooth and creamy as all the other DN balms we know and love with a perfect, sheer blush of color. I know that choosing a lip shade is very personal, but for me, Betty is the PERFECT color. It's an amazing "my lips but better" color on me and just super flattering.

I think best of all, I don't get ANY funny taste or smell. Nothing chalky, nothing chemical, nothing gritty, nothing "off." Just a beautiful lightly sweet flavor and a gorgeous scent. I didn't notice that the listing described the scent as "berry." It surely is berryish, maybe even slightly floral, and not overwhelming at all.

I dare say that this is my ideal tinted balm, and it will be giving my trusted Clinique Black Honey a run for its money. (I'd be even more excited if DN decided to formulate a color similar to Black Honey, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. 😂)

I will be recommending this to everyone and can't wait to try some other shades!
